Bistro De Bolle opened its doors in 2005, using the locale of the old local café ‘De Bolle’, with its rich 106-year-old history steeped in unshakeable cultural and architectural foundations.Since then, Barbara & Vincent have built a similarly solid reputation with their customers for their honest, high-quality food, served in a warm, friendly setting.

As soon as you step inside, your attention is drawn to a picture of the old café, a first hint of the passion and drive that’s never failed to satisfy our customers!

In our kitchen you will first and foremost find a collection of traditional French and Belgian dishes. Meat and fish dishes are prepared by Barbara with love and dedication, often borrowing secrets from Grandma’s recipes while Vincent will be more than happy to advise (and entertain) you in your choice of dish and beer or wine.

Our signature dishes (bouillabaisse, veal kidneys, scampi dishes, rib eye steaks, sole, scallops …) are always on the menu, but we like to spice it up with seasonaldishes and ingredients, such as game, asparagus, mussels, salads, stews, Dutch herring, buttermilk porridge… Bistro De Bolle is a small, cosy establishment run by two passionate people, making advance reservations are often recommended (only by phone!).
